My Buddy

I took this picture of Isaiah and Buddy last fall! I am SO behind in my scrapbooking! I try to do a recent event, and then go back and do some catch-up work!

journaling: You named him “Buddy” when you were just a baby. You loved him from the start. When you were an infant, you used to suck on his nose. You tell him all your secrets. Buddy makes it all better. You can’t sleep without him. He used to play twinkle twinkle little star, but he’s been washed so many times, it doesn’t work anymore. You carry him by his strings sometimes (you call them his two hairs). You used to take him everywhere, until you lost him at a store. Luckily, we had two, and your original Buddy was still at home. After that, mommy bought 2 more from ebay and now Buddy only stays home. Still, you and your buddy go on many adventures together. We can hear you whispering to him and telling him stories in your bed at night when you are supposed to be sleeping. You talk to him about your day and what you did. You tuck him into the covers to make sure he’s cozy. You make us hug and kiss him goodnight . When mommy was nursing Lily, you insisted that I nurse Buddy too. You love your Buddy. We love him too.

Life's a Beach!

Here's another 2 pager of Lily's actual birthdate. We spent it at the beach!

Scrappin again...

not that I have time, but I've been trying to digi-scrap again (I do this when I should be cleaning or sleeping- thus I am always tired and my house is always a mess). I will be posting more in random order. I am really having fun with these 2 page spreads! Here is a recent 2 pager I did of Quail's Insect Show. You can click the image for a larger view. Cousins Korina and Alyssa were visiting and we had a blast!

JOURNALING: We were so excited to go to the bug and insect festival! Having cousin Korina and Alyssa there made it even more fun! To prepare ourselves, we watched Bug’s Life before we came! We saw so many amazing species, including all of the bugs on Bug’s Life! We got to pet snakes, pick up caterpillars, stick bugs and huge cockroaches! And who knew we would have so much fun...EATING BUGS! fact: 1 single roasted mealworm larva has over 700 grams of protein and almost no fat! Isaiah liked them so much he ate 3! Korina said they tasted like peanut skins, and we agreed. Alyssa almost tried one!
