A prayer of Thanksgiving

Father of the Ages,

Thank You for providing everything we need.
Thank You for grandparents who prayed for us before we were born
as we pray for the grandchildren of our grandchildren.
Thank You for teaching us to love by loving us,
for all the love You give and we share.
Thank You for surrounding us with the miracle of Your creation,
for the heavens and the sparrows.
Thank You for laughter and others to laugh with,
for service and others to serve with.
Thank You for health, sight, hearing, hands to work and hands to hold,
holidays and beauty, books and music, children, friends, food, rest, homes, and memories.

My my, we are so blessed. Thank you for being here, watching, caring, helping.

Glory to Your name! Thank You for who You are.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE GRATEFUL FOR!

We LOVE where we live!

So, NY was wonderful- but there is nothing like San Diego! We just love it here. There is so much to see and do. We are so blessed to be surrounded by God's beauty all around!

New York! New York!

We are home from our NY vacation... well I wouldn't really call it a vacation, as it was not the relaxing sort of stay. More like an URBAN ADVENTURE! We had a great time, didn't take nearly enough pictures, though. We missed our Isaiah everyday, but NY is not a place for toddlers, so we were glad he was at home spending QT with Ama and Papa. We LOVED NY and can't wait to go back. The people there are friendly and real, quite refreshing! There is so much to do, we barely hit the tip of the iceberg. Our favorite thing to do was see Broadway shows! We saw 3 shows: The Color Purple, Phantom of the Opera, and Spelling Bee. All were excellent, but the Color Purple was unbelievable! We loved getting lost on the subway, eating in Little Italy, shopping in Chinatown ("you want purse? handbag? coach? prada? louis-ton?"), walking through Central Park, and eating NY pizza! NY Brick oven pizza is delicious! We loved it all, and definately want to go again!

NYC Trip Day 1

Our NYC trip started off with a bang. While Eileen and I were in Phoenix on our layover we meet George Ross (Donald Trumps right hand man). Eileen made me work up enough nerve to go and talk to him. He is a really nice guy and gave us a few NYC tips.
