Walking in the woods
Today we had absolutely gorgeous weather! Breezy and cool, the kind of weather that makes you happy to live in San Diego! We were feeling adventurous and decided to check out Hosp Grove Park in Carlsbad. We pass by this park all the time but had no idea it was so nice. It overlooks the Buena Vista Lagoon and is filled with walking trails through beautiful Sycamore trees! The park also has a great little play structure, but the kids were much more excited about exploring the woods and going on a little hike.
Someone had fashioned a rope swing with an old bicycle handle hanging from a great sycamore tree!

Great pics Leenie! We haven't explored that park yet. There are a lot of homeless men who live there, so I have been waiting to go w/ someone!! Guessing they aren't there during the summer? They put their bags and belongings underneath the trees! I had a great conversation w/ one of them over at Mimi's, he was taking in the view from there!

Finding something new and fun is always good. Isn't it fun exploring! Good thing you stopped to finally checkout the park eh. Great photos btw!
